I came across this photojounalistic tidbit: Photo Jounalist Nick Ut took this iconic photo from the vietnam War 35 years ago:

Now, 35 years ago TO THE DAY. Mr. Ut takes this picture of heiress Paris Hilton.

I don’t know how Mr. Ut chooses his assignments, but this seems to illustrate the decay of mainstream journalism…
